Priligy all Set to be launched in Britain
Tuesday, 27 April 2010
Premature ejaculation prevention drug Priligy is all set to be launched in Britain with 'the potential to do as much for men's sexual health as Viagra'. According to a report by “The Sun” Priligy tablet is to be taken 1 to 3 hours before sex and it is shown to make men last three times as long. Priligy is available for men aged 18 to 64. The drug, costing 76 pounds for a pack of three 30mg tablets, works by changing the levels of a chemical in the brain, which helps a man to have more control over delaying the moment. Premature Ejaculation affects nearly 30 percent of all British men. 'Priligy has the potential to do as much for men's sexual health as Viagra. It will give sufferers a chance to improve the quality of their relationships and their general wellbeing,' Nitin Makadia, head of male sexual health at Lloyds-pharmacy, was quoted as saying. 'It has been well received by men elsewhere in Europe and we are really pleased to be bringing this treatment to the UK.' |
